1. Know that you are separate from God
This car is split in two pieces.  It was never meant to run like this and it can not run very well like this.  Living without God is like being seated in the back seat of this car.  You can not get to where God wants you to be unless you hook up with God and allow Him to be behind the steering wheel of your heart.
Know that you need God - You need God's help. You need His guidance. He is the one who created you. He knows your needs and hurts more than anyone else. He wants to be your Lord (your guide). He wants to be your friend.

The bible shows and teaches us that all wrong doing is sin.

(Sin is when we make important decisions without even asking for God's help and guidance and without even considering what He thinks and how He feels about what we are about to say and do.)
 
2. Know that you can be with God by coming through Jesus Christ
 

 Jesus came to break down the dividing wall of sin.

Sin is the dividing wall that holds us back from going to God and from doing things God's way.

 
Know that God made the way - Jesus is the way to God.  His blood has the power to cleanse you of all wrong doing.  He can make you new in the way you think, and in the things you desire.
 
3. Repent, which means you turn away from sin and turn to God
  • Hear No Evil
  • Speak No Evil
  • See No Evil

 

SAY

TO SIN
God wants us to be more like Him and to resist sin.

Satan will try to get us to be disobedient like he is.

Satan will try to get you to say "yes" to sin.

Satan will try to make sin look good to you.

All wrong doing is sin. Sin is when we leave God out of our lives ; to live as if God did not exist.
Choose to accept God's way - Make the decision to turn from sin (sin's pleasures, sin's desires) and to turn to God (for help)
 
4. Ask Jesus to come and live in your heart

By doing this, God will accept you into His kingdom.  You will be a part of His family with all the rights and privileges as sons and daughters of the most high God.

 

 

 To help you follow these steps say this prayer out loud:

God, I know that I need you. I ask you to forgive me of my sin. I turn from my sin and ask Jesus to come in my heart. I am now a part of the family of God.
