Romans 10:17
Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message
is heard through the word of Christ.
Hebrews 11:1,3,6
1 Now faith is being sure of what we hope
for and certain of what we do not see.
3 By faith we
understand that the universe was formed at God's command, so
that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.

And without faith it is impossible to please God, because
anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that
he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
Hebrews 10:35,36,38,39
35 So do not throw away your
confidence; it will be richly rewarded.
36 You need to
persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you
will receive what he has promised.
38 But my righteous one will live by faith. And
if he shrinks back, I will not be pleased with him."
39 But we are not of those who
shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who believe and
are saved.
1John 3:23-24
23 And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son,
Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us.
24 Those who
obey his commands live in him, and he in them. And this is how we know
that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us.
