II. God's
Provision (Provided the Way)
(USING: THE NEW INTERNATIONAL VERSION)
Ephesians 2:14-17
14 For he himself is our peace, who has made the two one and has destroyed the
barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, 15 by abolishing in his flesh the law
with its commandments and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one
new man out of the two, thus making peace, 16 and in this one body to reconcile
both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility.
17 He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who
were near.
Colossians 1:19-22
19 For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him (Christ), 20
and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or
things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross. 21Once
you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil
behavior.
22 But now he has reconciled you by Christ's physical body through death to
present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation -
Romans 5:1-2
1 Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God
through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom we have gained access by faith
into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory
of God.
